The PG department of economics is the oldest PG department and the only PG department under granted in  aid structure. It offers three courses MA Economics BA Honours Economics and BA general Economics. which actively organises many seminars , webinars and workshops for the faculty and the students.The deptt. also organises Diagram Making, Mock Teaching, Poster Making, Model building Competitions, Debate, Essay writing competitions, National and International Conferences . Kautilya Economic Association of the Economics deptt. Invited Dr. Sonu Madan from IGU University, Rewari and Dr. N.K. Bishnoi & Dr. K.P. Narwal from GJU University, Hisar in one day National Seminar on 'Skill India& Cashless Economy'. MA Economics 4th and 2nd semester students Doli and Neha respectively secured 1st position in university merit list. It also organised the National online FDP on “Importance of Literature Review in Quality Research”
