*Department of Chemistry is known for imparting excellent education among students of science. Department consists of twelve highly qualified and innovative members. Apart from teaching assignments, the faculty of department is engaged in research activities funded by U.G.C. As per the University & Haryana govt. norms, department is imparting theoretical & practical knowledge to every science student of the college. Department had organised Six National Conferences & Three International Conferences, Four International Seminars and Five National Seminars in Chemical Sciences.
* Organised IOCL, Panipat& Indian Science Congress sponsored one day National Conference on Chemistry & Environmental Science in which more than 200 delegates of different colleges & universities from all over India participated & presented their research papers. * Eminent Scientist such as Dr. Amlendu Pal, Dr. S.P. Singh, Dr. Pawan Sharma from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra were invited for extension lectures on different topics.
