The APGC library is considered as the heart of academics and acted as knowledge resource center which caters the academic needs of around 5005 students.

Our library has 60 Magazines and a stock of more than 75343 books, periodicals, national and international journals, online databases etc. The library is also equipped with latest technologies like internet, DELNET, INFLIBNET, for updating the knowledge of students and the staff of the college.

Trained and experienced library staff assist the faculty and students with point of use instructions to fulfill the thirst of the users. The library provides a conducive environment that is both stimulating and relaxing for academic exercise. To facilitate better referencing, the collection has been segregated into two distinct unit, one for UG and other for PG.

Library has a rich collection of Books, Magazines     and e –resource,library collection is classified with     Dewey decimal classification scheme (DDC 23rd Edition).Anglo American Cataloguing Rules-II (AACR-II) is used for cataloguing. The entire catalogue of the library is computerized. Library has open access to the collection. The Library automation was initiated in the academic year 1998-99 with the support of the library committee.We have LIBSYS purchased Web based software.

7) College is an institutional member of NLIST so that the students and staff members have access to their library collection as well.
8) The college also has interred library loan to other colleges.
9) Students are trained to use library facilities like OPAC.
10)KIOSK Facility for the benefit of students.

Library Timings

Library has a very flexible working schedule through out the year. It opens before the institutions opening time and closes after the closing time so that readers have an opportunity to use the library without disturbance to their academic schedules.

9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. (Monday to Saturday except gazetted Holiday)

Duties and functions of the committee:

1.To consider policy matters like policy for procurement of books, journals, etc.
