Sports Achievements

In Arya College , special attention is paid to the all-round development of the students, whether it is in the field of education, in the field of cultural genres or in the field of sports. Our students have established new records of success at the International, National, and University levels by proving their talent under the efficient guidance of Dr. Naresh Saini, in charge of the college, and his team.

At the international level, Vinka, a student of our college, won the gold medal in the World Youth Boxing Championship as well as the gold medal in the All India Inter University Boxing Competition and brought laurels to the college as well as the whole of India.
Miss Himanshi Malik brought laurels to the entire state of Haryana by winning a gold medal in the senior national archery competition.
Kumari Kajal won a silver medal in National Federation Cup Handball Competition and a bronze medal in Senior National.
College student Ankit brought laurels to the college by winning one silver and two bronze medals in the rowing competition.
Along with this, the men's badminton team of the college secured the first position and the men's cricket team secured the third position in all Haryana college competitions.
Karan Sharma and Prateek Khasa brought laurels to the college by winning the silver medal in the All India University Cricket Championship.
Kumari Neha won the silver medal in Junior National Handball Championship.
35 students of the college have represented Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in North Zone and All India University Competition.
Our college’s weightlifting men’s team won the gold medal in the inter-college competition at Kurukshetra University.
The teams of men's chess, men's cricket, women's volleyball, and handball won silver medals in the inter-college competition.
Women's Badminton, Women's Taekwondo teams of our college have also earned bronze medals. The college men's baseball team secured the third position.
Kumari Varsha, a college student, proved her mettle in the 1500-meter race in the annual sports competition held at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and got the distinction of being the best player of the university by winning the gold medal.
BCA II year student Harshit Dixit brought laurels to the college by winning the gold medal in the 100-meter race and the silver medal in the 200-meter race.
BA second-year student Neetu won the silver medal in the 200 and 400 meters race.
In the Pro Kabaddi League season 2022, four college players Sombir Gulia 38, Rohit 30, Sourav 10, and Sahil earned prize money of seven lakh 80 thousand.
Based on the sports achievements of the college, in the last 5 years, about 40 players of the college have had the privilege of being selected for different posts in various government departments.

Zonal and inter-zonal competitions of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra Softball, Cricket, Kabaddi, Chess, Badminton, Baseball etc. were successfully organized in the sports premises of our college.

Today, as a result of these achievements, our college holds a special place in Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
